CHANGING WOMAN

Changing Woman was a project done during early summer till fall of 2014. It was about changes we confront in our lives. We may face death and living. We may change personally or our surroundings may change. On a personal level for both me and the model the process while shooting was about losing a dear friend. It was also a time of self-realization and mirroring our experiences of change during shooting the pictures.

The project got it's name from Navajo people's legeng about Changing Woman. She grows old in winter time but by spring she becomes a young woman again. Changes we face often has an affect on our friends and on the people we meet. By so the change never exists alone but always has a reflection to ones surrounding environment. On the peak of this series of changes we see rebirth, new spring and deeper level of understanding of life and its purpose.
